The Work

If Bri Lee said jump, I’d say how high.

This is a five star read for me - Lee’s first go at fiction and it could be said that writes like she’s been around for decades.

I loved everything about this. The art, the power, the prestige, the privilege, the sex. The story follows Lally, NYC based gallery owner, as she curates up and coming artists. Enter Patrick, Sydney lad, working in antiques, with a bit of a shit family and no real direction. And here we go. The long distance love story of 2024.

I’m not saying anymore, because I don’t want to and I will be telling every single soul to pick this up. Bri Lee can do no wrong.

Thanks to my personal book provider for lending me this proof. Out this week.
