Pineapple Street
Pineapple Street by Jenny Jackson
Well I needed this. Something really surface level that I could read with enjoyment. Enter m: The Stockton family. Generational wealth at its finest. The story of three women in the Stockton family navigating their own “life challenges”. Between job losses, marriage affairs, country clubs and class differences, I inhaled this high brow society life, knowing that it’s not reality.
Ask me when I was in my late teens, and I would have wanted this life. This life of wealth and what looks like happiness. But it’s not what you want. You want to fill your life with love and happiness, with care and gratitude. With loyalty and kindness. Live that kinda life and I reckon it will turn out pretty bloody good.
