Never, Ever, Forever
Never, Ever, Forever by Karina May
Well I need this little golden nugget didn’t I? I have been in a bit of a reading rut and this light-hearted tale of Rosie Royce has helped me kick start my summer reading journey!
I loved Duck à l'Orange for Breakfast and May is back with Rosie’s story and I gobbled this up like I will with my tiger prawns on Christmas lunch.
The story follows Rosie Royce as she is still reeling over a break up from 6 years ago, numerous unsuccessful tinder dates, a new job in a small town, a neglectful mother and a whole boot full of emotional baggage from her childhood. So what else can we throw into the mix? Of course. Enter Dr Markus Abrahams and ex-boyfriend Wes and let the love triangle begin. This book has everything we need to sit back in our chair, with a glass of wine and inhale.
As the story unfolds, I find myself on #TeamMarkus rather than #TeamWes and I was surprised at where the story went, but I liked it. Thanks Karina May for tickling my taste buds with this delightful little read.
