Love, Just In

Love, Just in by Natalie Murray

This was a very cute little Australian chick-lit, friends turn lovers story based in Newcastle. It’s still January, which means I can’t really think too deeply about books just yet. My brain is still transitioning from midday naps and wines at 3.30pm to work/daycare/study/booksta etc etc etc - so this was just perfect. Also I love that this is Australian - here’s to more Aussie novels where I can connect with the places (makes the story better I reckon). Anyway, this cute little bundle of joy follows Josie a tv journo trying to pave her way to Tv reporting (it doesn’t help that Josie suffers from some medical anxiety as well as panic attacks on a regular basis) and due to an unfortunate incident on air, finds herself relocated to Newcastle - which also is the location of her childhood best friend.

Yes we all know where this is going AND WE LOVE IT - I am Team Zac, he is supportive, and a professional in every sense of the word. He loves Josie with every part of his soul and here we are taken on a journey of them basically trying to find excuses not to be together but really - they will be together forever. Really liked this.

Would recommend as a light-hearted read if you are still on your summer holiday highs.
